One company behind several products
User First Digital is the company behind several products for the people who run managed service providers. Each carries its own name, its own site and its own audience. What they share is us — the same people, the same infrastructure, and the same standard for what gets shipped and what gets said. The software this industry runs on has not kept pace with the way MSPs now work. We are building the next generation of it, and building it as MSPs: the people who make our software also run a managed service provider, where everything we ship is used before anyone else is asked to. It is built for the operator — the person accountable for the business rather than only for the network. We build things meant to be kept. Choosing a tool is a multi-year decision for an MSP, so we would rather grow slowly around products that last than launch quickly and move on.

Built by people who run an MSP
The people who make our software also run a managed service provider. Everything we ship is used on a real service desk before anyone else is asked to use it, which is slower than shipping first and asking later, and it is the reason our products know what they are for.
- Durability
Built to be kept
Choosing a tool is a multi-year decision, and the cost of getting it wrong is paid by the person who has to migrate off it. We would rather grow slowly around products that last than launch quickly and move on.
- Focus
One audience, not many
Everything here is built for the operator: the person accountable for the business, not only for the network. That is a narrower brief than most software companies give themselves, and we have not widened it.
- Independence
Nobody pays for our coverage
Where we publish, the resources are free to the operators we serve and nobody can pay to change what we write. There is no sponsored slot and no placement to buy, which costs us a revenue line and is the reason the writing is worth reading.

Industry news and analysis for the people who run MSPs, every Tuesday. Free, and not for vendors.

MSP industry awards and hands-on product testing. It is being built now and is not open yet.
